never alone

THOUGHT: My earliest memory of seeing faces everywhere was probably 3 or 4 years old when I saw hundreds of faces in the dimpled ceiling plaster above my childhood bed...and in wood grain, clouds, trees, blank paper, flower wallpaper...everything....I learned much later that it's not uncommon, and it's called pareidolia. I never felt lonely, and always wanted to paint them....I gave them stories and wondered where they came from, and that's how I became an artist.
My current body of work within "thoughts & prayers" is also a search to recreate many of those faces that I see to this day.
PRAYER: May your imagination be your constant, and best, companion.
