I think often of how casually we use and abuse nature and consider it all our own, I hope to live long enough to see a broad and accepted sentiment that nature is for all of us to share and that we are all just temporary renters...we won't get that deposit back if we leave it destroyed.

In this painting, the buck represents nature and strength, and the man is casually riding on it's back, weighing it down, keeping it from being it's best self.
