CHAPTER I - APOCRYPHA
April 2026
A faithful friend is a strong defense; And he that hath found him hath found a treasure.

Fox on a chair in a river.
Apocrypha
24" X 30" - acrylic on canvas April 2026

SKETCHBOOK - NOTES
In Chapter I it's acknowledged that there is hidden meaning in everything.
The chair represents a man-made interruption within nature (the river), the fox represents sentient nature and there's an impression that the sentient may be stuck or in trouble. The woman represents a human attempt to remedy, repair or comfort. The barren landscape indicates overuse of natural resources.
As humans, we create situations we then try to fix.
